Sacramento, CA – Today, the Sacramento-Sierra’s Building & Construction Trades Council (SSBCTC), a powerful voice representing more than 15,000 union construction workers in the region, proudly announced their endorsement and strong support for Phil Pluckebaum in the upcoming Sacramento City Council District 4 election.

SSBCTC Executive Director Kevin Ferreira, announcing the endorsement, said, “The construction workers who are building a better community for Sacramento are proud to support Phil Pluckebaum for City Council. He is a strong supporter of working families and understands the policies we need at city hall to improve economic conditions for all of Sacramento.”

This endorsement adds to an impressive coalition of support from labor and business, including Laborers Local 185, Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber Political Action Committee, Sacramento Region Business Association, and the Sacramento Police Officers Association. 

A long time City of Sacramento resident, Phil brings eight years of experience from his work on the city’s Planning and Design Commission. His active involvement in numerous local civic organizations and dedication to volunteer work shows his deep commitment to the city’s progress. Phil is a project manager for UC Davis Health, where he has a passion for bringing stakeholders to the table to solve complex problems and keep projects on track.
